Dear i5k Workspace@NAL community – Welcome to the October 2026 installment of our quarterly newsletter, with updates on the i5k Workspace@NAL and the i5k initiative.

New and updated datasets

We host three new species, have created two new Official Gene Sets, and have updated nine species with new genomes! This includes three Eurytemora genomes described in the following paper: https://doi.org/10.1038/s41467-025-65292-z. All are open for manual annotation at the i5k Workspace@NAL.
